Meridian Models places adds in popular modelling magazines such as " Narrow Gauge & Industrial railway modeling review. More ...
Meridian Models started back in 1969 to manufacture scale models of narrow gauge prototypes that run (or ran) on 60 cm to 750mm track gauges, all our kits are produced to 1/76 th scale and use 9mm (009) as a track standard. OK, so its not HOe or HOn2! But with a stretch of the imagination and a squint of the eyeballs they look good, and that’s the best thing isn’t it? After all model railways (or railroads!) are meant to be fun at the end of the day.
Most of our range uses N scale locos to provide the drive units which often vary in availability and quality, so when the opportunity came along to develop a new model that had everything included from the wheels up we jumped at the chance.
So we proudly announce the availability of a ‘new critter on the block’ or as they are known in the British Isles ‘petrol mechanical’ tractors.
As you can see from the image above the completed model is of an extremely high standard both visually and mechanicly.
